i)This office is established in the Collectorate compound,
Akola and the
President of this office is
collector, Zilla Sainik Welfare Office, Akola.
ii)This office is actively
pursuing the resettlement and rehabilitation of Ex-
serviceman ,Battle Casualties,
Disable Soldier ,War Widows ,Widows
and their dependants.
This office is continuously monitoring and up-
dating its various schemes for extending benefits to assist
maximum
number of Ex-servicemen
/ Widow with the help of Department of
Sainik Welfare, Maharashtra state, Pune-1 .
iii) The aim of this office
is to provide and disseminate current and useful
information about its various financial assistance given to
the Ex-
serviceman / Widow

Behind Head post Office ,Near Bilala Bhavan
Akola for Ex-servicemen & their dependents. . All
facilities are being
provided in the Rest
House for Serving soldier / Ex-servicemen & also
for civilian.
vi) And Military Boys Hostel near Akashwani, Akola
has been est for
the son's of Servicing Soldier/ Ex-servicemen for getting the
higher
education in the
School / Collages , Facility of Logging / Boarding is
available into the
Hostel for children's.
vii) The Ex-servicemen
Contribution Health Scheme. (ECHS ) opened
on
01 Aug,2004, Ansari Building, Khedkar Nagar, Moreshwar
Colony,
Akola for providing the medical facilities to Ex-servicemen / Widows
those who are
getting service pension
only.
