          District Court Information System program commenced from  the August, 1998. Initially one Pentium Server having LBFN as a Operating System & Five dumb terminals & Five Printers were provided.

          The proper utilization of the computer in courts for  the routine work helps the court staff, in redressing the grievances of the litigants promptly and speedily.  Efficient use of computer can also do the administrative work accurately and speedily.

          The use of the computer in the court work for the preparation of the balance sheet of cases instituted and disposed off cases required to be taken regularly for the accuracy of the balance sheets, feeding of the orders passed by the courts, feeding of judgments delivered by the courts can be done on computer as well as grant of copies, feeding of statements daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, six monthly, yearly etc. well within time . And preparation of pay bills.  G.P.F. Bills and correspondence of District Court with the Honorable High Court and other offices, and other important facility is available as per E-mail the information or letter can be sent within a minuets to the other places.  Interactive communication is possible and by access to remote data basis information stored in other computer can be seen.  It be developed for the benefits  of Litigants, Advocate , Court staffs and general public at large.  Viz., A  Litigant of asking for the stage of his case, i.e. Next date, progress of matter, that Litigant should be given the needed information, by the computerization of the system. The use of the computer system aims for tackling the problem of rush of work on the hand and to give grater convenience.

          In due course, computerization has become essential part of Management of the Courts. Now the Honorable High Court, Bombay granted the new Computer Hardwares and Softwares. Now LAN facility will be provided in current month. Also in future Video Conferencing facility, Touch screen facility will be provided .

I remember at this stage some officials of District Court staff namely Shri. T.B. Muley, A.S., Shri. N.D.Dupare, A.S., Shri. D.M.Joshi.,A.S., and Shri. R.S. Topre.Sr.Cl.,  Shri. G.M.Rothe, Jr.Cl, Shri. R.W.Pawar, Jr.Cl., shared outstanding performance of data feeding during their tenure in Computer Centre.

The Present officials of Computer Section namely  Shri. D. D. Gogarkar, A.S., Shri. V.M.Savale, Jr.Clerk and  Shri. G.P. Saoji, Jr. Clerk are very hard working and sincere.    The Credit of this Web Site goes to them; without their support and efforts its not possible for N.I.C., Akola to design the Web-Site. They are also responsible for entire Computerization work of District Court, Akola along with NIC, Akola .
