In Akola District the office of District Government Pleader is established and working to represent all the  legal affairs for and on behalf of the State.  The  office of District Government Pleader, Akola  is working under the control of Law and Judiciary  Department, Government of Maharashtra. Mantralaya, Mumbai and the office of Joint Secretary, Law and Judiciary Department is also at  Nagpur.         

          In the office of District Government Pleader, Akola the District Government Pleader is an administrative head and under his control the  Additional Government Pleaders are working.  In Akola at present District Government Pleader and three Additional Government Pleaders are working at Akola and 2 Additional Government Pleader at Washim.  The District Government Pleader and Additional District Government Pleaders working and governed by the Mahashtra Law Officers Rules.   Recently the Government of Maharashtra, Law and Judiciary Department provided a good update Library and the computer having update case law soft ware.  The office of District Government Pleader is also having  the Fax Machine having fax no. (0724) 2439933 and a xerox machine.
